Wanawake is a non-profit organization that advocates offering opportunities to girls and women survivors of three of the most radical forms of violence- Female Genital Mutilation - Child marriage - Human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation Our tools to achieve this: flowers, sports and your participation. Wanawake means "women" in Swahili. In our organization we work towards granting visibility to the role of women in all societies and to achieve real gender equality through educational and awareness projects, taking part in sport events, development cooperation programs in Kenia and Tanzania, social action and the promotion of dignified work for women in a state of vulnerability.
