Wannasee Ltd has been organsing live music festivals since 2012 and has grown into a major independent live music promoter, currently running 10 festivals in the North-East, and across the country, covering a diverse range of music genres and with plans to expand further in the future. Wannasee was formed by a small team of live music lovers from the North-East of England, in 2012. All the team had other full-time jobs and wide experience of running numerous gigs across the north as "an expensive but enjoyable hobby". Determined to provide more live music in their region and from the investment of their own time and money, Wannasee was formed "for the pleasure of bringing great live music festivals, that we'd want to go to ourselves". Ten years of hard work and continual growth reinvestment,"using every spare hour, 7 days a week", has turned Wannasee into a completely independent promoter, with a number of well-known and much-loved festival brands, covering rock, pop, indie, heavy metal, alternative, ska, mod, punk, tribute bands, and much more. Despite the huge pressures that came during the Covid pandemic the company came out of the other side, more determined than ever to support the live music industry. Wannasee are proud of their North-East roots and to be bringing festivals to tens of thousands of people each year, not just across their own region, but also in Cumbria, Hertfordshire and Nottinghamshire. With a current team of 8 full-time staff, they are looking forward to creating many more jobs in the future and developing and expanding their festival brands, bringing investment benefits into each local area and creating "the best live music experiences possible".
