Ware Priory

Ware Priory is a premier event and banqueting venue in the Hertfordshire market town of Ware, just 20 miles north of London. Situated within seven acres of picturesque riverside gardens, the Priory itself is a Grade 1 listed building of historical interest, and was built as a Franciscan Friary in the 14th Century. Extensive restoration and renovation in the mid-1990s has created a unique venue for weddings, celebrations, conferences and meetings. Fletcher's Lea at Ware Priory, completed in 2007, is a stand alone building that offers a bright and contemporary atmosphere for any event whether a concert, a wedding, a celebration, a conference or even a product launch or training session. The main suite can be divided into three separate function or breakout rooms and the Riverside Suite itself opens directly upon the banks of the River Lea, offering a tranquil setting and a wonderful backdrop. The Priory grounds are beautifully maintained and during the Summer months (May to September) we open the Ware Lido, one of the only open air swimming pools remaining in the country.
