Gina Adams, the founder of Wareologie, saw her father struggling with the simple task of buttoning his shirts as Parkinson’s Disease reduced his movement. Throughout the progression of the illness, she experienced first-hand the problems that millions of Americans with physical limitations face every day. Seeing her father struggle and searching for adaptive equipment to help him maintain his independence inspired her to create Wareologie. The first product we invented was Buttons 2 Button magnetic button adapters. This is a patented product that eliminates the struggle of buttoning shirts. In 2020, we learned millions of people are unable to receive physical rehabilitation due to widespread isolations mandates. This problem persists and quarantined patients are suffering. Delayed therapy or inadequate rehabilitation often lead to decreased function, longer recovery times, and medical complications.
