Waste Data & Analysis Center
The Waste Data and Analysis Center is led by researchers from Stony Brook University in the Department of Technology and Society within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The goals of the Center are to conduct research to better understand the generation, composition and management of solid wastes, particularly within New York State. The Center’s primary geographic focus is New York State and local municipalities, but the Center also examines national and international data. The Center is currently working on multiple projects examining various aspects of waste management.
