Wataru

Wataru is an Edomae-style sushi restaurant located on the ground floor of Saxe Building in Ravenna, Seattle. Opened in November 2015. The focus of Sushi Wataru will be on classic tradition and the use of quality ingredients with a strong emphasis on the finest, local and imported seasonal seafood from “Toyosu fish Market” in Tokyo, contributing to a completely unique and authentic dining experience. The restaurant offers Omakase(chef’s choice) options and list of premium sake, beers, and wines paired specifically for the sushi. In addition, Sushi Wataru will be feature a restrained wood sushi bar (without regular sushi fish case) and décor oftentimes found in high-end-sushi restaurants in Tokyo but rarely seen in the United States. Our goal is share with diners, sophisticated or novice, authentic and enjoyable sushi experience.
