Watchdogs

Watchdogs utilizes the ubiquity of smartphones on college campus to reimagine and digitalize the current Blue Light system. Every emergency is different. Keeping that in mind, Watchdogs allows users to text, video chat, or call university authorities, as well as, medical specialists and campus EMS. Using real-time location services, Watchdogs would also allow users and authorities to track each others' location to allow for more dynamic and efficient security. Additionally, Watchdogs is centered around crowdsourced data. Overtime, crowdsourced data would provide university officials with insights that would help allow them to manage safety services more efficiently, thus reducing the level of incidents on college campus.
