Major news outlets such as CBS News, Fox News, and Vox have partnered with Watchup to deliver their content on the app. Watchup was incubated at StartX, the Stanford startup accelerator, and was named one of the Best Apps of 2014 on Google's Play Store and a finalist for the Webby awards in 2015. It is also the first news streaming app featured on Nintendo's Wii U. Watchup's mission is to lend a variety of viewpoints through numerous news channels and topics.
