Wa-ter Mon-key: one who lives an active lifestyle in and around the water; may be male, female, young, or not so young; not defined by the style with which he/she rides, but by the passion he/she has for living a water life. Water Monkey was founded by water sports enthusiast, Chase Kosterlitz. A professional kiteboarding and stand up paddle instructor, Chase learned to kiteboard in 2005 and was one of the first in Tampa Bay to get into the emerging sport of stand up paddle boarding. Some say he is the original Water Monkey! After a collegiate basketball career, Chase became an avid boarder –dedicated to living and promoting an active lifestyle on the water. This led Chase to establish Water Monkey in order to promote the Water Monkey lifestyle. Chase also competes professionally in stand up paddle boarding events around the world.
