Waterloo Baja Sae Team

Waterloo Baja SAE is a student-led team that represents the University of Waterloo in the international Baja SAE competition, where universities from around the world compete. Organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International, Baja SAE fosters a hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experience for engineering students. Each year, the team designs and builds a rugged, single-seat off-road vehicle to take on the challenges of dynamic and static events that test engineering prowess, vehicle durability, and performance. These competitions offer team members invaluable hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, and real-world problem solving, fostering the development of skilled and versatile engineers.
