Although Waters Engineering was incorporated in 1955, our local experience goes back to the 1920's when the company's founder, Alex C. Waters, began the practice of engineering and surveying in Southeast Missouri through his assistance with the construction of the Little River Drainage District. This district was a huge undertaking of it's time by draining the swamplands of Southeast Missouri and converting them into fertile farmland. Since that time, hundreds of projects have been completed not only in the lowland areas; but, also in the upper hilly regions of the area.
