Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metro area, Wave Law represents technology companies, entrepreneurs, and other technology-focused businesses. The firm focuses on technology transactions matters, corporate and business law matters, and commercial contract matters. The firm also advises on intellectual property, privacy and information security law matters in a transactional context. The idea for Wave Law came about because we saw an opportunity to create a small firm that would cater to passionate technologists, emerging growth companies, and multinationals alike, with legal services focused on these practice areas. Having been counsel to licensors and licensees, investors and portfolio companies, acquirers and acquirees — all experience gained at elite law firms and as the top lawyers of technology companies — we have the experience, focus and objectivity needed to fashion reasonable compromises that close deals.
