Web ‘n Retail is a division of Rock ‘n Retail, LLC and is an online music marketing agency based in Los Angeles, CA and founded in 1994 by Gale Rosenberg, former Promotion Manager for the Wherehouse Entertainment Record chain; Branch Coordinator for PolyGram Group Distribution, Assistant Film and Video Director for MCA Records; as well as other positions held at ABC Records, Billboard, Mix, Creem and Thrash Metal Magazines. The company deals in the marketing, PR and promotion of online music products and artists, both physical and digital. Their clients are primarily Record Labels, Distributors, Producers, Managers and Independent artists. They do perform their services for other types of businesses and products as well. Web ‘n Retail then evolved into a full service online marketing agency that offers a variety of music marketing services for artists of all genres, including (but not limited to): Viral PR, Blogging, Video Blogging, Social Media services, Mobile App Marketing, eBlasts, and SEO.
