Non-profit foundation that aims to promote the conservation and sustainable use of the ecosystems, throughout the promotion and development of projects and programs that focus on environmental education and research. GOALS 1) To contribute to the acquisition of further knowledge about fauna and flora species. 2) To promote environmental education as a strategy to generate consciousness about the importance of the ecosystems conservation and sustainable use. 3) To promote environmental education as a strategy to generate consciousness against illegal wildlife trafficking and animal abuse. 4) To create a social platform to promote concerted strategies for conservation and sustainable use of the ecosystems. 5) To design and establish methodologies and communication networks as tools for environmental education, by means of compiling and publishing information. 6) To participate and give support to the creation and/or implementation of public policies and/or management plans oriented towards the conservation and sustainable use of the ecosystems. 7) To design, implement and/or give support to projects and/or programs that are concurrent with the Foundation’s mission and goals. 8) To link and make agreements that enable inter-institutional cooperation with national and international institutions that count with concurrent goals with the Foundation, and/or with educational institutions. 9) To design and implement alternative production systems that mitigate the impact on the ecosystems and that improve the quality of life of the human population.
