Wecare-Association

WeCare-Association, founded by Susanne Riz and Robert Buchbauer, is a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable projects in Kenya and Cambodia. Through collaboration with individuals and NGOs we identify and implement initiatives addressing actual needs of the local population. Organization focuses on projects fostering financial independence and commits to sustainable solutions that empower communities in the long term. We provide support for the following ongoing projects: Nasaru Masai Girls’ Learning Center (Iloshion, Kenya) Dormitory with learning facilities for 72 Maasai girls (14 to 18 years old) aiming to prevent Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), early marriages and empower women with education and practical skills. Rehoboth Educational Initiative (Kitengela, Kenya) School founded by Jane Gitonga, strives to provide quality education to disadvantaged kids and presently accommodates 170 children. Combating FGM (Mperrishi, Kenya) In the remote village of Mperrishi, we combat FGM through empowering young girls with education while rallying all stakeholders—men, women, teachers, and parents—together. To encourage consistent school attendance, we offer monthly water delivery and regular visits from our local team, fostering community engagement and support. Femmes des Rizières (Switzerland) In collaboration with NGO Avec in Battambang, Cambodia, we're nurturing the social brand "Femmes des Rizières", crafting lifestyle products with meticulous attention to detail in the tailor's workshop situated within the NGO`s compound.
