Wecare Foundation

Nour Project" is a national initiative aims at establishing the "FIRST disabilities Center of Excellence" through an institutional model for multichannel integrated services. It is being executed by " We Care" Charitable Foundation under patronage of Ministry of Social Solidarity and the League of Arab State. The project reflects Egypt agenda for Sustainable Development Strategy where the first goal is “to improve the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen and improve his standard of living”. The project has five basic pillars that combine institutional development, infrastructure development, human development for cadres of specialists to support other entities working in the same field and targeted rehabilitation efforts to empower and include persons with disabilities. The project include disabilities diagnosis, early detection and intervention initiative especially in remote areas through mobile clinics. Additionally, it is the "FIRST technology hub" for persons with disabilities supported by the national presidential agenda for digital Egypt to endorse the use of modern technology in different life aspects. Digital applications enable adapting communications to improve the quality of life and ensure independency through access to information, employment opportunities, automated services, digital & personalized health, e-commerce to sell their products, and to serve as learning management system. Nour project also supports the entrepreneurs from persons with disabilities & accelerate their projects and startups through dedicated professional network from governmental and private sectors. The campus launches academy for training the caregivers and families.
