Weems Robertson was formed in 2013 by consultants that worked at The 401(k) Company prior to its acquistion by Charles Schwab. As an independent firm, we are able to provide unbiased advice to our clients, while being guided by many of the same principals that led The 401k Company to excellence, such as direct access to senior principals, prompt and exact attention to client requests, and the delivery of advice that is succinct and respectful to the time constraints of busy professionals. 401(k) IPS has only one line of business: providing investment advice to qualified plans. We are not tied to any fund manufacturer or recordkeeping platform. With all our revenue coming from advisory and research work for our clients, we are free from the potential conflicts of interest that undermine many of our competitors. 401(k) IPS clients benefit from 40 years of expertise consulting to fiduciaries of qualified defined contribution plans. Our consultants have worked with over 100 401(k) plans with assets ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. We know best practices in the defined contribution market and are experts in investment policy development, investment manager selection, and ongoing plan monitoring.
