WeGeneral International Limited (“Group”) was founded in 2015, with the prime objective to streamline traditional financial service processes with the application of contemporary FinTech innovation and solutions. We are determined to provide comprehensive digital financial services to clients around the world in a disruptive, cost-effective and technology-driven manners. • Headquartered in Hong Kong with technology hub in Beijing China, WeGeneral, by excelling over other traditional and incumbent financial institutions, will strive to provide better and more intimate digital financial services to clients, including both SME and corporate, with better client experience. We are thus investing heavily in various financial service sectors such as transaction banking, trade financing, wealth management, insurance service, etc. • Currently, WeGeneral is eyeing on opportunity to expand its business and footprint beyond China and Hong Kong in order to promote sustainable business development and growth of the Internet of Things across various industries. • Apart from strengthening the core business in FinTech and Financial Services for being highly innovative, businesses are also diversified into other business sectors covering e-commerce platform, logistics, warehouse storage, tourism, co-working space and associated professional service provisions. • In 2019, WeGeneral have already expanded the business to Europe (in Lithuania) through the development of electronic money and payment businesses. An Electronic Money Institution EMI (or a Neobank) is to be established. We shall have own IBAN code and direct access to the European payment system SEPA. Service coverage includes issuance and redemption of electronic money, transfer, payment execution, remittance, FX, issuing payment instrument and payment acquiring. • By leveraging of the passporting mechanism of EMI licence, the Group can implement business operation in all European countries and jurisdictions.
