WeGreen is the first comprehensive search engine for sustainability and opens the door to the entire green world on the Internet. The centrepiece is the Sustainability Footprint, which enables a quick and simple visualisation of the ecological, social and transparency performance of a company, a brand or product: Green equals good, amber equals average and red equals a bad performance. For the products with an amber or red Sustainability Footprint, we provide green alternatives. To be able to profit from WeGreen, no hardcore ecological or idealistic background is necessary- we want to convince each and every internet user- without any lecturing- that sustainability is easily integrated into our every day lifes and that the majority of questionable products indeed have green alternatives to them. No on is wearing a t-shirt produced with child-labour and dyed with toxic chemicals very happily, when there in fact is, a more sustainable alternative available at approximately the same price.
