Welbodi Partnership

Welbodi Partnership is a UK-registered charitable organisation based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We have been working since 2008 to improve the quality of health care women and children receive. We believe that increased access to quality healthcare will improve the health of women and children in Sierra Leone. We are embedded in health facilities where we work with local partners to catalyse improvements in care delivery. We undertake coordinated capacity-building with stakeholders on multiple levels, from policy and leadership to management and clinical training. We also engage with community beneficiaries to ensure that women and children are empowered to seek care appropriately and hold the health system accountable for improved outcomes. Our vision is that all women and children in Sierra Leone will have access to effective essential healthcare services characterized by respect and dignity for all, including patients, communities and staff. Our mission is to build the capacity of the health system in Sierra Leone to reduce the number of women and children who are sick, suffer, or die unnecessarily.
