Welcos was formerly Hyundai Cosmetics found based on the naturalism and the workmanship in 1986 and the consumer response was very positive launching the industry's first hair straight cream domestically in 1987, which came to establish a foothold of the major growth of the company. Since then, it has tried and changed constantly in order to improve brand awareness investing heavily in research for the development of new products of high performance by training top-level human resources in each field etc. Being approved permission(hair growth, hair loss) by Korea Food and Drug Administration in Seoul in 2007, it has been growing into a major company which accurately estimates rapidly changing trends and leads global fashion trends, and sells products being equipped with the distribution network at home at abroad with a variety of products including basic cosmetics, body care, makeup, aesthetic products etc based on purism and naturalism.
