Welfare Avenue

We Are A Non-Profit Organization focused In the heart of Montreal as we see an opportunity to get high school, college and university students, that have extra time, to help out the growing homeless population of our city during the global pandemic. We go by the name of "Welfare Avenue" as it is the literal meaning of all the values we stand for. Welfare is “the good fortune, health, happiness, prosperity, etc, of a person, group, or organization” and Avenue is “a way of approaching a problem or making progress towards something.” This is what we are trying to accomplish, bringing happiness and health to Montreal's homeless population while coming together as a community.
