We created Well Capital to bring a refreshing, value-first experience to investment management. Investing is generally perceived as a selfish act, focused on growing or maintaining an individual or family's finances, with hopes of it being enough to feel confident in one day making the decision to retire. The impact feels distant, the process feels monotonous. At Well Capital, we wanted to flip that model on its head. We understand the importance of providing our investors with a positive, exciting, rewarding experience TODAY. It makes money easier to save, exciting to deploy, and rewarding to watch. We aim to make investing something you can talk about, to make growth impactful. So from Day 1, we made a pledge. We will provide this experience, out of our own pockets. 10% of Well Capital's gross income goes towards solving the water crisis, bringing clean water to those who have never had the luxury of a clear glass, clothes that look new again after the first wash, a bath, a shower, a clear stream of water running over their toothbrush. So, in order to make this happen, we formalized a partnership with a group called Charity Water. Charity Water has been changing lives for years, one well at a time. The most exciting aspect of this is that, while it does not affect our investors' returns, it does affect change. Every investment with Well Capital has impact. Every exceeded projection, every distribution paid, every successful exit. They all carry weight, and they should all be celebrated!
