Leading away from both beaches is the Cornwall Coastal Path offering, in one direction a walk into the ancient working fishing port of Padstow and in the other direction the costal path leads to another beautiful sandy beach at Harlyn and onwards to the new Lifeboat Station and the lighthouse at Trevose Head which is open to visitors. Regardless of which direction you take, or your pace, the coastal path offers unspoilt views, tiny coves and various other routes and footpaths to explore the local area. As a guide the walk into Padstow can take from 30 minutes to an entire afternoon, depending on your chosen route and pace. Harlyn is also approximately 30 minutes away on foot.
