Wellcana is a fully integrated and diverse Louisiana biopharmaceutical company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is focused on standardized medical cannabis cultivation, extraction, processing and production; CBD product formulation; as well as research and development. In partnership with LSU AgCenter, Wellcana’s goal is creating safe, standardized, pharmaceutical- grade, cannabinoid therapies that target a variety of medical conditions. The medical cannabis and CBD extractions, raw materials and products formulated in the Wellcana facility are closely regulated. Wellcana professionals wear Personal Protective Equipment, use Integrated Pest Management protocols, follow Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices, and adhere to the Current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the production of safe, consistent and effective medical cannabis and CBD products.
