WellNested helps families navigate the transition into parenthood with confidence and ease by offering personalized, postnatal care at home and at their fingertips. WellNested is committed to giving new parents the help, support and guidance they need to successfully navigate the start of their parenting journey with all of its ups and downs. They do so by providing new parents with a fully-customizable care team of postnatal specialists who provide continuous in-person and/or remote support during the first few weeks of the baby’s life. This care team is led by a dedicated mother/baby registered nurse who is responsible for nurturing a 1:1 relationship with the family, helping them every step of the way. A WellNested membership gives new parents immediate access to a “village” on-demand: including fully-vetted lactation consultants, infant care specialists, night nurses, doulas, mother/baby nurses, and postpartum mental health specialists. WellNested provides a support system that moves with and adapts to the needs of growing families. Founders Stephanie Rampello and Karina Akib met at MIT Sloan and watched friends, family and colleagues struggle to navigate accessing the right care after birth. Seeing how much better the experience could be - based on the care being provided to women in other countries - they knew they had to improve the postnatal experience for families in the U.S. That’s how WellNested was born.
