Law firm with offices in metro Chicago and metro Atlanta. We have been open for business almost continuously since 1996. We are a law firm with a focus on law that matters most to the family - advocacy on behalf of the elderly and children, and the defense of civil rights in the workplace. Michael Shane Welsh has been representing parties in litigation in State and Federal Courts since 1993. He is currently licensed in Georgia and has a license application in progress in Illinois. The firm will represent individuals and families in all counties of metropolitan Chicago. We also represent individuals and families in metropolitan Atlanta and in Savannah, Georgia. Michael earned his law degree at Duke University in 1993. He earned a BA in English, summa cum laude, from Auburn University in 1990. He practiced law at Holland & Knight (f/k/a Branch Pike & Ganz), at Chamberlain Hrdlicka and at Welsh Law, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia after his graduation from Duke. He is certified by the State of Illinois as a volunteer ombudsman for longterm care facilities, and is currently the ombudsman at a nursing home in Niles.
