Wenli Academy 文礼书院

Wenli Academy is a Confucian school founded upon the idea that a person’s learning should encompass the very best from China and the West, from the past to the present. Wenli Academy comprises four academic units: Wenli Academy, Wenli Institute of Chinese Learning, Wenli International School, and Wenli 'Zidi' Attached Primary School. In addition, we also conduct a one to three-year Wenli Liberal Arts Programme. The academic units are presently spread over two campuses in Taishun County, Zhejiang Province, China, one in the Bamboo Village (Zhulixiang), the other by the Cloud Lake (Yunhu). A construction project is currently underway to build what will become the main campus of the academy. The guiding principle for Wenli Academy is the continuation of the Confucian lineage (daotong), and the reconciliation of Chinese and Western cultures. The Academy aspires to train worldclass talents, who are able to confront age-old issues in our contemporary world. Wenli Academy is neither only for the Chinese nor for our times alone, but it has the globe as its end, and its spirit is timeless.
