Founded in 2007 by Jan Wertel and Gernot Oberfell, WertelOberfell is an industrial design firm with offices in Berlin and Munich. The studio designs furniture, lighting and industrial products for innovative start-ups, small family businesses, global brands and research institutions. Among our clients are companies such as Braun, Gillette, OralB, Neff, Siemens, Philips, Sony, Huawei, Panasonic, Bulthaup, Iker, Basslet, NEXR, CEA and Fraunhofer Institute. Our design process is based on research, experience and understanding of our clients needs. We accompany our clients from the very first product idea, to prototyping & testing, to implementation and ultimately to production.
