They are here to help you. A referral from your GP is required to make an appointment, so please ensure you have this before contacting us. TESTS AND PROCEDURES The testing we have available to patients includes the following- ECG An ECG provides an easy way to record the way your heart beats- Echocardiogram A non-invasive way of assessing the way your heart functions- Holter Monitor This monitor can record the way your heart beats over 24 hours. It is worn on a belt or shoulder strap during most of your normal activities except during a shower- Exercise Stress Test A non-invasive test to assess the way your heart responds to exercise- 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring This monitor can record your blood pressure over 24 hours. It is worn on a belt around your arm during most of your normal activities except during a shower- Pacemaker/Defibrillator Test A special wand will be placed over your device site which allows us to check that the device is working normally.
