Background WEYE in WEYE clean energy company Ltd stands for Waste to Energy Youth Enterprise The company was founded in 2015 by Galabuzi Brian initially as The Waste to Energy Youth Project aimed at equipping youth with practical and entrepreneurial skills in waste management, clean energy production and smart agriculture. For sustainability WEYE clean energy company limited was registered as a company to produce and supply fuel briquettes, construct stoves and provide consultation and training services. Location Company head quarters are located in Bulooli, Namugongo Division in Kira Municipality next to the Uganda Martyrs Catholic shrine and another branch in Ntawo Mukono. Our Mission To champion transition from use of firewood to use of eco friendly briquettes. Our Vision A youth led sustainable, green, clean and eco-freindly future for the next generations. Our objectives To reduce on deforestation by providing alternative sources of cooking energy produced from agricultural waste. To be the leading producers and distributors of high quality, smokeless and eco-friendly carbonized charcoal briquettes. To create decent income generating opportunities for youth and women from slums and rural farming communities by equipping them with practical and entrepreneurial skills in production, marketing and selling of modern clean cook stoves and carbonized charcoal briquettes.
