Whakatau aims to transform lives and communities by tapping into untapped talent pools in underserved communities. Driven by the belief that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances, we invest in the futures of those who have been overlooked by traditional pathways to success. We strive to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce while simultaneously meeting the growing demand for skilled IT professionals in the global market. We achieve this by providing support, empowerment, and education to local South African students as they pursue their dreams of becoming proficient IT professionals. Currently, we have established our own campus in Gauteng, where we are training eight students to become true IT professionals. From May 2025, they will be available as a versatile remote development-team available to be integrated into your company.
