Whales & Co. provides a high standard, low-cost scientific platform accessible all year long in Southern California around the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary where baseline studies about Ecosystem health are feasible and if conducted regularly without interruptions could be most effective. Whales & Co. also provide environmental consulting services and participate in other initiatives or expeditions in collaboration with our scientific partners. In addition, to support our proposed long term cetaceans research project, we offer ECOTOURS from our vessel with the aim to engage the public and create environmental awareness. Most important, we are planning to recruit the Scientists of tomorrow by involving the local Community Colleges and bring the students out from the library by giving them access to our Research Lab in the field.
