Wharfedale Naturalists

Wharfedale Naturalists Society is a thriving charity with over 600 members, first established in 1945. With the support of over 60 volunteers we are involved in the management of 6 Local Nature Reserves and run a program of talks, walks and visits throughtout the year charitable objects are To promote and foster the study of all branches of natural history (by observation, research and record keeping) and thereby to add to the existing knowledge of these sciences in the world at large and in Wharfedale in particular; ii) To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.
