Since we can remember, football has been our passion. Together, we can look back to many years of coaching and playing both in lower youth leagues, but also at youth level in a Bundesliga club and at the highest amateur level possible. However, in our opinion, the level at which you work as a coach is not so important. Coaching is a profession that has to be learned and then be constantly updated. Especially at the lower levels you have the opportunity to try out things and then see how the players react. As a coach you must always try to pass on the joy of playing to the players, but also encourage the players to work hard in order to be successful. Because in sports one thing is certain: If you lose all the time, playing is not fun. Since 2018 we have been writing articles on our blog whatiffutebol.com. We write about different topics of football and connect them with others, sometimes also outside of it. We want our articles to be as short and informative as possible. We think about concepts and ideas to realize potential for improvement. We reflect on theoretical and hypothetical aspects of football according to our motto "what if". In addition, we have made it our mission to recognise new trends in football at an early stage and help coaches get the most out of their teams. Our articles and books are available in the 3 official languages of the UEFA: In our native language German, as well as in English and in French.
