White Weft

White Weft is a design studio based in London. Our goal is radical transformation of the fashion industry. As well as creating our own collection of luxury accessories made from low value denim waste, we offer consultancy services to brands and manufacturers who benefit from our leading expertise in sustainable product development and a thriving network of ethical sourcing partners. Building on the growth of our own up cycled collection and the skills and networks we have cultivated, we want to work with businesses wishing to reduce and eliminate waste through recycling and up cycling of textiles. The team is led by Janelle Hanna who before starting White Weft worked as a denim designer and then design director for well known globals brands. Our client base since opening in 2015 ranges from large corporations like Wrangler to thriving start ups Blackhorse Lane Atelier and circular pioneers E.L.V denim. We also offer product and creative direction to denim manufacturers and mills and recently worked with Turkish denim mill, Orta, on a collection of accessories upcycled from their obsolete samples.
