Wholesalex

WholesaleX is a one-stop solution for Kirana Stores (Mom and Pop Grocery Shops) to restock their stores easily and effectively. We aim to be an indispensable procurement partner to the stores and help new age brands launch products and gain distribution fast. We get orders using our app (WholesaleX), which uses handwriting input and simple UI elements so that people who don't know good English and people with little to no experience using smartphones will be able to use with ease. We took this approach, after experiencing first-hand, the difficulties faced by the Kirana shop owners while using traditional English smartphone Apps. Looking up stats, we found that only ~20% of Indians know English, even less people are comfortable with keyboards. But the literacy rate (at least the mother tongue) is ~75%. Given the massive adoption of smartphones and cheap internet thanks to Jio, a lot of people now can access software tools, but only a few are able to use them properly. We want to change that. The WholesaleX App is built with Restocking as the primary use case. This is important as the store owner needs to restock 200+ SKUs every week. A traditional eCommerce app will make this process very time consuming and tedious.
