Whyzz is a media company that helps parents to have meaningful conversations with their kids about the world. After launching a website with answers to kids' Why questions and an award winning book series, Whyzz is now developing mobile guides for traveling families. With fun and exciting Family Field Trips that are based on big topics (such as “traditions & beliefs”, “urbanization”,"immigration","climate change"), specific neighborhoods or the five senses Whyzz will offer tourist and resident families whole new ways to understand the world. With this new approach to travel content as well as by integrating new technologies such as Augmented Reality and Location Based Services, Whyzz will address three problems: 1) kids today grow up in an increasingly xenophobic and nature-phobic world that is focused on entertainment 2) only few families can afford to travel the world 3) to be able to compete in the 21st century kids need to develop global competency that schools fail to teach. Whyzz's vision is a generation of young people that have the knowledge and enthusiasm to stand up for people and planet.
