The practice was established in 1959 when Dr. Gavan Carroll joined forces with Dr. Sadie McLeod and Dr. Hugh Connelly and rooms opened at The Brisbane Clinic on Wickham Terrace. Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia is one of Brisbane’s longest established anaesthetic groups. With over 80 specialist anaesthetists and comprehensive administrative support, we provide around the clock services to patients and surgeons in Brisbane and Queensland. We have doctors accredited at all the major Brisbane hospitals and pride ourselves on the service we provide. Wickham Terrace Anaesthesia (CCM Company Pty Ltd) is a service company supporting a number of independent anaesthetic practices. Currently 41 anaesthetists utilise this service as shareholders in the parent company and a growing number of solo practitioners utilise our administrative services to support their own practices as associates. We practice in a manner to facilitate the provision of a comprehensive around the clock service. Workload is shared to cover both the elective commitments as well as emergencies and after hours / on-call responsibilities. Anaesthesia services are provided to over 180 surgeons and other specialist medical providers.
