Website: Company Overview: Celebrating its 10th year as a school, Wickham Vocal Studios has grown into one of the most-unique and innovative training grounds for aspiring and current professional singers in New York City. WVS offers its students vast resources including a full sheet and audio music library, practice rooms, group performance classes, school-sponsored concert performances, agent-attended shows, and stellar voice technique training that rivals any of the major conservatories in New York City. Boasting an impressive faculty that includes NYSTA president David Sabella-Mills and professional singer and songwriter, Jeannine Hebb, WVS continues to offer superior training that guarantees not only a healthier voice and improved singing technique, but career guidance for performers of all genres from recording artists to opera singers. It's no wonder WVS has been called "…the Juilliard of private voice studios.” The WVS Professional Development Workshop is taking place from February – May 2010. This premiere semester-long program has included instructors like Billy Porter and David Sabella-Mills, with guest lecturers including Lilias White and Adam Guetal.
