WIDE Automation is specialised in the production of safety and industrial automation systems. Since 1998, counting on a decade-old experience in the business sector, it has been creating a range of industrial safety solutions including: pressure-sensitive (sensing) safety mats, for the surveillance of access to hazardous areas; pressure-sensitive (sensing) safety edges, with alarm or leaf blocking or shutter blocking function; pressure-sensitive (sensing) safety bumpers, which block moving components or means. Recently, WIDE Automation has introduced in its range, the revolutionary 3d vision safety system: 3D Safety Sentinel®. 3DSS is SIL3 stereo vision system, certified for safety-critical applications. It complies with the essential safety requirements in order to be used as a safety control system for detecting people for protection on automatic machines.
