Wiid Design

Wiid Design is a furniture and product design studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. Our most recent work includes a collection of bespoke products that explore the tension between the natural and the man-made. The creative force behind the design studio is Laurie Wiid van Heerden, whose passion for materiality and the tradition of craft and his commitment to collaboration together with his curiosity for experimentation has consistently put Wiid Design at the intersection of art and interior design. Laurie’s appetite for taking on large scale projects, high-end collections as well as custom products for private and commercial projects has made him a pioneering force in South African design.
