Wild About Britain

Today’s society is less connected to the natural world than ever before. Yet it has never been so important to protect our wildlife and intricate ecosystems in this time of global conservation concern. It is now we must get back in touch with our wild side and learn to care about the incredible creatures we share our planet with, so where better to start than with the wildlife on our doorstep. My name is Connie, and I am the founder of Wild About Britain. From my background working in bird of prey education, wildlife rehabilitation and reptile conservation, I realised there was a desperate need to educate specifically about our often overlooked British wildlife that I feel so passionately for. Wild About Britain allows me to ignite that interest in others of all ages through providing a variety of interactive and educational British wildlife experiences with myself and my animal ambassadors. As David Attenborough has said,"No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced".
