Wild Astrology

MY VISION: I dream of a cyclical, period-conscious world in which women and girls do not have to repress, suppress or fight for their authentic power, psycho-spiritual wisdom and fundamental bodily needs. I strive for a reality in which women trust their natural instincts. The work I do is centred around the goal of helping women reclaim their power by honouring their natural, cyclical rhythms using the cycles of nature: seasons, astrology, Moon phases and the menstrual cycle. My services and offerings are primarily geared towards cisgender women who menstruate or not - due to pregnancy, menopause, breastfeeding, medical/biological reasons, birth control or by choice - or who have irregular periods. In using the terms “feminine” and “masculine”, and describing archetypes of behaviour relating to cyclical rhythms, I’m recognizing that these inhabit in everyone regardless of sex and gender. I also want to acknowledge my limitations and knowledge gaps as it relates to supporting trans or queer folks in menstrual cycle awareness. I am continuously unlearning and doing the work to try to be more inclusive of non-binary and queer humans. However, I cannot speak on the experience of marginalized races, genders and sexual orientations, and therefore do not think I am in the best position to support these groups of people. My Values: My personal core values at this time are Truth and Freedom. All of these find their way in my work and personal life. I stand strongly behind anti-racism, anti-oppression, and dismantling white supremacy and the patriarchy. As a white woman, I recognize my own privileges and white supremist conditioning. As it stands with doing work to be more inclusive of disabled, gender fluid and LGBTQ+ communities, I am also committed to this lifelong journey of undoing my own conditioning and learning to be more inclusive of Black, Indigenous, people of colour and disabled folks.
