Sometimes, people seek out therapy because they feel ‘stuck’. ‘Stuck’ can happen when we neglect to try to understand and accept our authentic selves. We may not be happy with all of our ‘parts’, yet fail to acknowledge any of them can lead to that impossibly difficult ‘stuck’ feeling. Perhaps a solution for becoming ‘unstuck’ is a willingness to recognize and place a value on every part of ourselves, ‘prickly’ and all, and begin to work with them, rather than against them.
