Don't leave another conversation kicking yourself for what you should've said! 🟠 I've worked with people to conquer conversations: Caught in uncomfortable conversation, without the words to negotiate, to be assertive or to be credible, can be stressful. Firstly, why the🧡- Because we need more kindness. Conversation starts with compassion! You don't want to fall into the overthinking trap or berating yourself afterwards for not saying the right thing. But you want presence, influence and impact - and recognition for your hard work. That was me too - not knowing how to deal with certain politics and people, often in authority or hard-to-fathom characters. And in worst case scenarios, there were tears of frustration (mine, not theirs)! It wastes time, causes confusion or is horribly uncomfortable - a career and confidence block. When I couldn’t navigate it any longer, I quit and travelled. 🥩 My pivotal moment was serving steak in Sydney, winning over an especially awkward customer in a jazz club…realising I wanted to help people hold conversations confidently, without being someone they’re not. That was 22 years ago, setting out to help people handle scenarios, using my coaching, Psychology, NLP, Marketing, Performance and Trauma and Complex PTSD training. But my experience being the best education.
