Will County Habitat For Humanity

Will County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Since its incorporation in 1988, Will County Habitat for Humanity has built over 90 homes across Will County for qualified partner families. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat for Humanity knows that safe, decent, and affordable shelter plays a critical role in helping families create a new cycle, one filled with possibilities and progress. Affordable homeownership frees families and fosters the skills and confidence they need to invest in themselves and their communities. The outcomes can be long-lasting and life-changing. Our mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity's approach to providing shelter involves not only constructing houses but also building and strengthening communities through collaboration, education, and volunteerism. By bringing together individuals, families, businesses, and organizations, Habitat for Humanity creates a sense of solidarity and shared purpose in addressing the pressing need for affordable housing.
