Founded in 1935, as City Tool & Gauge, Name change in 1964 following Neville Williams takeover.and renamed N.Williams & Co.(Southampton) Ltd. Williams have been manufacturing precision machined components including gears, supplying the Aerospace, Nuclear, Medical, Formula 1 & Commercial markets. Types of gear cutting undertaken include spur and helical gears, worms and worm wheels, Involute splines, chain sprockets, timing belt pulleys, internal gears, and straight sided serrations. We also specialise in CNC milling, CNC turning, grinding, lapping and honing, whilst maintaining a QMS conforming to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100 Rev D requirements with the supplement of AS9102.
