Williams & Conner Beef Jerky

What started out as 2 Nursing Anesthesia students having late-night study groups with homemade jerky sticks for snacking, quickly turned into a business and partnership between two best friends. Brady Williams and Troy Conner built a small make-shift jerky lab in the Williams’ home, and later in 2007, the duo established their jerky manufacturing facility where they continued to curate small, handmade batches of jerky using the finest herbs, spices and cuts of USDA beef. While Williams and Conner were working their day jobs to pay for their investment, Williams' wife, Amy, pitched their jerky to local HEB locations and landed the deal! A pregnant mother of five, Amy then visited Meat Market Managers throughout the Greater San Antonio Area, traveled a two-hour drive at 3 am two mornings a week to make the store deliveries, and worked each day at the facility to ensure quality production. Can you say… Superwoman? We think yes. She continues to work her magic, managing the day-to-day operations, growing her customer base, and engaging folks who are looking for a delicious high-protein, low-carb snack. She is passionate about supporting healthy lifestyles and fueling adventures! Sixteen years later, W+C Jerky has expanded their line of jerky products from the original Hickory flavor to include savory Mesquite, spicy Pepper Trio, smoky Applewood, tangy Teriyaki Texas Thai, and Sweet Heat Sriracha. The company has also added Big Texas-Sized Strips and Moo Chew, a delicious shredded beef jerky that can take even the most basic snack to the next level (hint hint… nachos and popcorn)! Williams & Conner’s reach has extended to Walmart, H-E-B, Stripes Convenience Stores, many private label brands, and 7-Eleven.
