Williams Hughes

Williams + Hughes is a Western Australian law firm specialising in commercial law and commercial litigation, intellectual property and dispute resolution. The practice was established in 1986 as a boutique commercial law firm concentrating on the areas of corporate, business, resources and property law. The practice attracted a wide range of quality work and grew steadily. From 1990 the practice expanded to develop a strong commercial litigation section, which operates in all civil and commercial jurisdictions and is particularly active in the Federal and Supreme courts. As the practice has grown its primary focus has remained on commercial work, providing services in the commercial and corporate law, resources, commercial litigation, intellectual property, trademarks, domain names and dispute resolution fields. Although this focus means that we do not deal with family law, criminal, motor vehicle injury, workers’ compensation or personal injury matters, we maintain a wide range of contacts with other legal practices who specialise in those areas to whom we can refer. Our firm attracts a wide range of quality work, and our clientele includes high net worth individuals, small to large businesses, private companies, public listed companies and multi-national groups. As at October 2017, we have nineteen Solicitors and three Paralegals. We also have a team of experienced support staff.
